Shahid Kapoor starrer Arjun Reddy remake in Hindi is now titled Kabir Singh. Directed by Sandeep Vanga, who also directed the Telugu blockbuster, the film has Kiara Advani as the female lead.
The Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy finally has a title, Kabir Singh. Starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, the film went on floors just a few days ago. The film is directed by Sandeep Vanga, who also directed the Telugu original starring Vijay Deverakonda.
On the title of the film, Sandeep says, “When we started work on the Hindi script, it was a very exciting journey. KABIR SINGH, as the protagonist’s name, came naturally, considering the character’s graph. KABIR SINGH has the same punch and madness of Arjun Reddy.”
Shahid Kapoor tweeted, “#ArjunReddy was loved and appreciated now it is time for #KabirSingh! Get reddy to see him in 2019.?”
Kiara Advani shared the poster of Kabir Singh and wrote, “#ArjunReddy came & conquered! Now make way for #KabirSingh ❤?”
Arjun Reddy was quite the blockbuster when it hit screens in 2017.
Kabir Singh is a T-Series and Cine1 Studios production. The film will be shot in Mumbai, Delhi and Mussoorie. Shahid Kapoor will be seen donning four different looks in the film. Director Sandeep Vanga revealed, “Workshops with all the actors are right now in full swing. “It’s all about taking KABIR SINGH to the next level.”
Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani were recently seen in the T-Series single Urvashi Urvashi.
