Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who recently got hitched in a private ceremony at Lake Como in Italy, returned to Mumbai on Sunday morning. The star couple was received by their hundreds of fans gathered at the airport. From the airport, the duo went straight to Ranveer’s house in Bandra where the new bahu was welcomed with the Aarti and other traditional customs.
Now, if a report on the Times of India is to be believed, the newlyweds will move to Deepika’s house in Prabhadevi today. They are expected to stay there until they move to their newly-bought bungalow, the renovation work of which is currently underway. The report says that their new abode costs a whopping Rs 50 crore.
Earlier on November 14 and 15, Deepika and Ranveer got married twice in accordance with Konkani and Sindhi customs. The photos from both the wedding ceremonies were shared by the couple on their respective social media accounts.
