Fahadh Faasil, who has been shooting for a Malayalam film, titled Malayankunju suffered a nasty fall while shooting a sequence in Pathalam Studio, Kochi. Reportedly, he fell from the roof of a building and sustained minor injures. According to reports, Fahadh injured his nose and has been advised to take rest by the doctors at a private hospital in Kochi, Kerala.
Fahadh was last seen in director Mahesh Narayanan’s C U Soon, which had a direct release on Amazon Prime Video. He kickstarted the shooting of his upcoming film Malayankunju in early January. While shooting for the film, he was asked to stand on the roof of a building, which was built for the film.
While doing so, he lost balance and suffered a nasty fall. It is said that Fahadh has fractured his nose and was rushed to a hospital nearby. He had to undergo a minor procedure at the hospital. However, Fahadh has now been discharged and is recuperating at home.
After the incident, the shooting of Malayankunju has been halted.
Malayankunju, directed by debutant Shajimon Prabhakar, is produced by Fahadh’s father Faasil. The team had completed the first schedule of the film a week ago and moved on to the second schedule this week. Fahadh will join the sets once he recuperates from his injury.
C U Soon director Mahesh Narayanan has been roped in as the scriptwriter and cinematographer of the film while Sushin Shyam will take care of the music. Rajisha Vijayan has been finalised as the female lead in this film.
