IPL 2020: Suryakumar Yadav’s intent at other end kept me relaxed against DC, says Quinton de Kock

Mumbai Indians opener Quinton de Kock credited specialist batsman Suryakumar Yadav for the intent and energy against the quality bowling line-up of Delhi Capitals on Sunday. De Kock and Yadav scored fluent half-centuries to help Mumbai Indians’ register a convincing 5-wicket over an in-form Delhi Capitals in Abu Dhabi.

“When Surya came in, we just naturally assessed what we were dealing with out there. Did help that when he walked out there, he had intent,” Quinton de Kock told IPL20.com.

“He was off to a flier with boundaries and rotated the strike. It helped me at my end too and helped me relax. We just naturally batted well together and toughed it out really well.”
