Salman Khan has announced that the his next project Inshallah will not be released on the Eid of 2020. The film, also starring Alia Bhatt, will be helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Salman Khan’s latest tweet is bound to disappoint his fans. The superstar has announced that the his next project Inshallah will not be released on the Eid of 2020. The film, also starring Alia Bhatt, will be helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Salman tweeted, “The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!”
No new release date has been announced yet. The film will bring together Alia and Salman for the first time.
Salman and Bhansali last worked together in 1999’s blockbuster hit Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, which also starred Aishwarya Rai. They will collaborate in Inshallah after a gap of over two decades.
Salman also has Dabangg 3 in his kitty. The film is the sequel to 2012’s Dabangg 2 and the third installment of Dabangg film series. The film will release on December 20.
Salman was last seen in Ali Abbas Zafar directorial Bharat. Katrina Kaif played the female lead in the film.
Alia, meanwhile, is currently filming superhero film Brahmastra directed by and Sadak 2, a sequel to 1991 film Sadak starring Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt. She is also part of the Telugu film RRR, which also has Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Ajay Devgn.
