Shah Rukh Khan again proved that he is a hero in the truest sense of the term. The 53-year-old superstar came to the rescue of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s manager Archana Sadanand at Amitabh Bachchan’s Diwali bash. It seems her lehenga caught fire and it was SRK who doused it. Tabloid Mid-Day reported that this incident happened in the wee hours of Monday morning (October 28) when the party was on with just a few guests. It seems Archana is admitted to Juhu’s Nanavati Hospital after suffering 15 per cent burns on her right leg and arms. A source told the tabloid, “Archana was with her daughter in the courtyard when her lehenga caught fire. Those around were stunned and didn’t know what to do. Shah Rukh had the presence of mind, rushed to Archana, and put out the fire. He, too, sustained minor burns while dousing the flames with a jacket. His only thought was to put out the fire.” The superstar was present in the party along with his wife, Gauri Khan.
It seems sources from Nanavati Hospital told the tabloid that the lady is recovering well. However, she has been kept in isolation just for precaution. Farah Khan took to Twitter to talk about it. She wrote, “@iamsrk mohabbatman to the rescue ! Praying for Archana’s speedy recovery ????”
Shah Rukh Khan’s fans have praised the actor and said that he is rightly called a legend. TV actress Nia Sharma was also saved from a mishap this Diwali. Her lehenga caught fire from a diya. She shared a picture and said that at times, there was a special force that guards you. On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan has said that he will announce a project in a couple of months. People are hoping that it will be a film with Atlee.
