Many, including us, just can’t keep calm every time Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol come together. There is something magical about the duo that keeps them going, even after 20 years of them sharing the silver screen together and something tells us, nothing is going to change anytime soon.
Be it his larger-than-life personality or her vivacious energy, the reel-life jodi is still a hot favourite with many generations, both past and present. Like their screen presence wasn’t enough, Kajol and King Khan are closest of pals and share a camaraderie that is hard to find in showbiz.
Which is probably why they are such a hoot when in the same frame. Speaking of which, we have dug up a picture that will take you down memory lane. A black and white snap that is laced with nostalgia and dreams of every movie buff. One from the sets of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge where the duo can be seen making funny and weird faces.
Now, we do see a train in the background from Kajol’s side and we wonder if it was taken the day the famous ‘Ja Simran Jaa’ sequence was shot. Similarly, SRK’s attire and prop reminds us of the song ‘Mehendi lagake rakhna, doli sajake rakhna’. Known for their crackling chemistry, the iconic pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol have featured together in films like Baazigar, Dilwale, Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
On the professional front, Kajol will next be seen in Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior opposite husband Ajay Devgn. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan in a key and is made on the lavish budget of Rs 150 crore. Directed by Om Raut, the film is scheduled to release on January 10, 2020. It will clash with Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak at the box office.
